Pick your outcome

Choose which outcome you believe is correct. For free markets, it costs nothing. For paid markets, you'll stake an amount of your choice.

Pay securely (paid markets)

Paid markets require a stake. Pay securely via our payment provider using your card, bank transfer, USSD, or wallet balance. The minimum and maximum stake are shown on each market.

Market resolves

Once the match finishes, the winning outcome is taken from the official final score and the market is settled automatically. Anything the score can't decide on its own is reviewed and settled by our team. Settled markets are final.

Winners share the pool

The platform fee is taken first; everyone who picked correctly then shares what's left proportionally to what they staked. Because the pool keeps moving until entries close, your exact payout is only known at that point. Winnings land in your wallet immediately.

You stake against other players, not against us

Winnings come out of the pool everyone else has staked on the same market. Sports445 takes a fixed platform fee, shown on every market before you enter, and takes no position on the outcome.

The payout figure moves until entries close

The “pays out” multiplier on a market is a snapshot of the pool at that moment, not a fixed price. If more money lands on your outcome after you enter, each correct player's share gets smaller. Your actual payout is settled from the final pool.

If nobody picks the winning outcome, there are no winnings

Where no one holds the outcome that actually happened, there is no one to pay and stakes are not returned. This can happen when a match is drawn and the market offered only the two teams. Always check the listed outcomes before you stake.

A market you enter alone is not a contest

With nobody on the other side there is no opposing money to win. If you picked the outcome that happened, your stake is returned in full. If you did not, half your stake is returned and the other half is retained. Markets nobody entered at all are voided.

Called-off matches are refunded in full

If a fixture is postponed, cancelled or abandoned, the market is voided and every stake is returned in full, with no fee taken.

Results come from official score providers

We settle from recognised sports data sources. We work hard to get every market right, but we cannot guarantee a third party's data. Once a market is settled it is final.

Payouts are rounded down to the nearest naira. You must be 18 or over to take part. Predicting involves risk and you can lose what you stake — never stake money you cannot afford to lose. The full rules are in our Terms of Service.

How are winnings calculated?

The platform fee is taken off the total pool first. Everyone who picked the winning outcome then shares what is left, in proportion to what they staked. If the prize pool after the fee is 100,000 and you staked 10,000 of the 50,000 that backed the winning outcome, you receive 20% of it. Payouts are rounded down to the nearest naira.

Why did the payout figure change after I entered?

Because it is a share of a pool, not a fixed price. The multiplier shown on a market reflects the money staked at that moment. Every entry after yours changes it, and more money on your own outcome means a smaller share each. The figure is only final when entries close, and that is the one used to settle.

What happens if no one picks the winning outcome?

There are no winnings and stakes are not returned. If nobody holds the outcome that actually happened, there is no one for the pool to be paid to. The most common way this happens is a drawn match in a market that only offered the two teams, so check the listed outcomes before you stake.

What if I am the only person who entered a market?

Then there is no contest: the only money in the pool is your own, so there is nothing to win either way. If you picked the outcome that happened, your stake is returned in full and no fee is taken. If you did not, half your stake is returned and the other half is retained. A market that nobody enters at all is voided.

What is the platform fee?

A small percentage of the total pool, taken before winnings are shared out. It covers running the platform. The exact percentage is shown on every market before you enter, and no fee is taken on a market that is voided and refunded.

Who decides the result?

Markets are settled from the official final score supplied by recognised sports data providers, automatically in most cases. Where a score cannot decide the outcome on its own, our team reviews and settles the market. We take accuracy seriously but cannot guarantee third-party data, and once a market is settled the result is final.

What happens if the match is postponed or cancelled?

The market is voided and every stake is returned in full, with no fee taken. The same applies if a match is abandoned, or if we cancel a market for any other reason.

Can I change my prediction?

On free markets, you can update your pick at any time before the market closes. On paid markets, your prediction is locked once payment is confirmed, and one entry per person per market — this prevents gaming the system.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed by our trusted payment provider. We never store your card details on our servers.

How long do withdrawals take?

Cashout requests are processed within 24 hours on business days. Funds are sent directly to the Nigerian bank account you have registered in your wallet settings. Bonus credit must be staked before it can be withdrawn.

Can I use my winnings to stake again?

Absolutely. Your wallet balance can be used directly to enter future paid markets — no payment checkout needed when your balance covers the stake amount.
