1 Acceptance of terms

By registering, accessing, or using Sports445 Markets, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sports445 Markets.

2 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register and participate.
• You must be legally permitted to participate in online prediction/gaming activities in your country of residence.
• You may not create more than one account per person. Multiple accounts will be suspended without refund.
• Employees and direct family members of Sports445 may not participate in paid prediction markets.

3 Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

4 Prediction markets

• Markets are created and managed by Sports445. We determine questions, outcomes, closing times, and resolution criteria.
• Entries on a paid market are pooled. You stake against other participants, not against Sports445. Sports445 deducts the platform fee displayed on the market and takes no position on the outcome.
• Any payout figure or multiplier shown on a market is indicative only. It reflects the pool at the moment it is displayed and changes with every subsequent entry. Your payout is calculated from the pool as it stands when entries close and is not fixed at the time you enter.
• Where one or more participants hold the winning outcome, the platform fee is deducted from the total pool and the remainder is shared between them in proportion to their stakes. Individual payouts are rounded down to the nearest naira.
• Where no participant holds the winning outcome, no winnings are payable and stakes are not refunded. This may occur where the actual result is not among the outcomes offered — for example, a drawn match in a market offering only the two teams. It is your responsibility to review the outcomes listed on a market before entering.
• Where a paid market closes with only one participant, no contest exists, as the pool consists solely of that participant's own stake and no winnings can arise. In that event: if the participant selected the outcome that occurred, their stake is returned in full and no fee is taken; if they did not, one half of their stake is returned and the remaining half is retained by Sports445. Where a half is not a whole naira, the division is rounded in favour of the retained amount.
• A paid market that closes with no participants is voided.
• Sports445 reserves the right to void any market at any time. Where a market is voided — including where the underlying fixture is postponed, cancelled or abandoned — all stakes are refunded in full and no platform fee is taken.
• Markets are settled from final results supplied by third-party sports data providers, in most cases automatically. Where that data cannot determine the outcome, the market is settled manually by Sports445.
• All market resolutions are final and at the sole discretion of Sports445. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of third-party data.
• On paid markets, your stake is non-refundable once confirmed, except where this section expressly provides otherwise. One entry is permitted per participant per market, and it cannot be changed once confirmed.
• On free markets, you may change your prediction at any time before the market closes.
• Participation carries the risk of losing your stake in full. Nothing on the Platform constitutes a guarantee of winnings, and past results are not indicative of future outcomes.

5 Payments & fees

• All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) through our payment provider.
• A platform fee is deducted from the total prize pool before winnings are distributed. The exact percentage is shown on each market before you enter.
• Payment provider transaction fees may apply; these are absorbed by the platform and are not charged to you separately.
• Wallet credits can be used to enter paid markets without triggering an additional payment transaction.
• All financial transactions are logged and may be reviewed for fraud prevention.

6 Withdrawals

• You may request a cashout of your withdrawable wallet balance to a Nigerian bank account at any time.
• Bonus or promotional credit, including referral rewards, must be staked before any part of it becomes withdrawable.
• Withdrawal requests are reviewed and processed within 24 hours on business days.
• Sports445 reserves the right to request identity verification before processing large withdrawals.
• We reserve the right to withhold or reverse withdrawals where fraud or abuse is suspected.
• You are responsible for providing accurate bank account details. Sports445 is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect account provided by you.

7 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or gain an unfair advantage in any market.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the Platform.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent any restriction or ban.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of our systems.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code to the Platform.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users of the Platform.

8 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Sports445 Markets is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.
• Participation in paid prediction markets involves financial risk. You may lose the amount you stake. Never stake more than you can afford to lose.
• Sports445 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have staked in the preceding 30 days.

9 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred before termination.

10 Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

11 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
